Nido |$200

Nido is the earliest form of Montessori education and is designed for infants. Nido means “nest” in Italian, capturing the warmth and security of the environment. When Maria Montessori created the concept of Montessori learning, she used the term “Nido” to represent the infant classroom; this is a safe place for babies to grow and learn while feeling loved.

Infant Community | $190

The Infant Community is an educational environment prepared for toddlers from the time they are walking independently until they are approximately three years of age. It is a nurturing environment where young children participate in activity that supports the development of voluntary, controlled movement, spoken language and independence in daily life.

Children’s House $190 (under 3) / $175 (over 3)

The Children’s House is a program designed for children from two-and-a-half to six years of age. Students direct their own activities, building knowledge, confidence and social skills along the way. The Montessori Directress empowers children to use all the materials available to them, which range from practical life activities to geography to mathematics. The applicable daily rate is determined by the child’s age (under 3 years /over 3 years).

Montessori Inspired Kindergarten | $175

Our Queensland Kindergarten Funded (QKF) Montessori Inspired Kindergarten, located on the first floor, moves slightly away from a traditional Montessori program in that a multi-age grouping is not used. While many other principles of the Montessori Method are implemented, the program is exclusively for children who will attend school in the following year (four years old by June 30).
